Terms and Conditions

  1. The Customer shall make payment of the agreed contract price in full at the time of placing the order Venue IT reserves the right not to process any orders unless and until this condition is satisfied.
  2. If by reason of force majeure, labour difficulties or shortage of materials, or any cause outside its control, Venue IT is unable to provide all or any of the goods and services ordered by the Customer during the whole or part of the duration of the exhibition, Venue IT’s liability shall be limited to the return of a corresponding proportion of the charges paid and payable by the Customer for such goods and services and Venue IT shall not be liable for any loss of profit or direct or indirect consequential costs.
  3. If the Customer, for whatever reason, fails to pay any account once it has fallen due, Venue IT reserves the right to suspend delivery of further products or the execution of further work to the Customer, without prejudice to any right to recover any costs sustained.
  4. All goods, materials, plant machinery supplied by Venue IT, shall be on-hire unless otherwise stated. The period of hire will be the tenancy period of the exhibition unless otherwise stated. Venue IT shall enter the exhibition premises to collect and to remove the items on hire as soon as permitted after the close by the exhibition organisers. All such goods etc shall be entirely at the Customer’s risk from delivery or installation at the exhibition premises (as appropriate) until collection by Venue IT and the Customer shall reimburse us for any loss or damage to same whilst on hire.
    1. Venue IT does not exclude its liability in respect of death, of personal injury of any party resulting from negligence of ourselves, our servants or agents (but not of our sub contractors, if any).
    2. Venue IT does not exclude its liability for loss of, or damage to the exhibits or property of the Customer where this has been directly caused by our negligence, provided that any claim in this respect is made in writing within 7 days of the incident.
    3. Any claim resulting from (b) shall be limited to the amount of any charges invoiced by Venue IT to the Customer and Venue IT shall not be liable for any loss of profit or direct or indirect or consequential costs.
  5. The Customer shall make payment of the agreed "Early bird" contract price either in full at the time of placing the order or prior to the cut off date as stipulated on the order. Venue IT reserves the right not to process any orders and/or invoke standard pricing unless and until this condition is satisfied.
  6. Save as expressly provided in these conditions, the Customer shall indemnify Venue IT against all actions, claims and demands howsoever arising from any loss or damage of whatever nature suffered by any third party as a result of the conduct of the Customer in complying with these terms and conditions. Notwithstanding the conditions of the clause Venue IT shall at all times act to mitigate their losses suffered by any such breach.
  7. Venue IT is not responsible for any injury, or damage to property or any loss or damage direct or indirect and whatever nature caused or arising out of:
    • delay or failure to deliver goods or materials or to carry out work from causes outside our control.
    • failure or defect in any goods or materials, plants or fittings not manufactured by us.
  8. Venue IT reserves the right to charge on to the Customer any additional costs in association with the contract due to alterations incurred at the behest of the Customer.
  9. Venue IT reserves the right to pass onto the client additional charges incurred from BT of £70.50 per man hour, if installation work takes more than 2 hours for each line ordered.
  10. Where BT deem it necessary to apply excess construction and or complex provision charges, these charges will be passed onto the Customer at the level of charge levied on Venue IT by BT.
  11. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, these Terms and Conditions apply to all contracts entered into by us to the exclusion of any terms and conditions contained in the Customer's order which conflict or purport to modify them, and to the exclusion of any conditions or warranties implied by common law or statute.
  12. Cancellation: If an order is cancelled, in writing, four weeks prior to the start of build up, the services ordered will be charged at 25%. If an order is cancelled, in writing, two weeks prior to the start of build up, the services ordered will be charged at 50%. If an order is cancelled, in writing, one week prior to the start of build up, the services ordered will be charged at the full rate.
  13. The contract shall in all respects be governed by and constructed and interpreted in accordance with laws of England and the Customer agrees to submit itself to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts.
